The Hope Community Food Bank

The Hope Community Food Bank is located in Rangiora, North Canterbury and is here to provide support to the North Canterbury Region.

It provides support for any person/family no matter what circumstances that may need some extra help with grocery items. This is not a means tested service. Whether redundancy, illness, benefit delay, extra bills or any other reason we are here to help.

TOP UPS

The Hope Community Trust has created TOP UPS Facebook group for people living in the Waimakariri district. The idea behind the group is to "Top Up" weekly food shop and is not intended to be a substitute or addition to a food parcel which is a separate service organised by the Trust.

To join click on the link below to the Facebook group TOP UPS. Fill in the online form and read and accept the group rules. Posts will be put up in the group when the food is available. When collecting your first TOP UPS, a form will need to be filled in and Terms and Conditions accepted. The Trust will be ticking off names upon collection and only those people joined to the group will be able to collect. Limits apply. Bring your own bag.

Weekly on a Wednesday 11.30am-6.30pm pick up, at the Rangiora Baptist Church.

The Hope Community Trust fruit and vege boxes provide quality produce at cost price. We invite you to purchase and enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables at a fixed weekly price.

$15.00 and $20.00 box options.

Men’s Breakfast

Weekly from 8.00am with breakfast served at 8.30am. A place of connection for all men with a cooked breakfast.

Cooking Classes

The Cooking classes are based on basic food with options that could include leftovers and standard pantry items. Held throughout the year.
